#CurrysChristmasWalk via BestLDNWalks | London

When we think Christmas shopping in London, typically our minds head straight to Regent & Oxford Streets… and if you live here, there’s a good chance you’ll get a headache just thinking about it. The bodies of people coming at you from all directions can be overwhelming and these two streets are not the time for you to be checking your phones. The problem with these two High Streets is that many of the stores repeat themselves and can be found all over the city. There’s nothing unique about them. Did you know there are 5 River Island stores just on Oxford Street alone? I found out 2 weeks ago when a friend and I agreed to meet in one, but were on opposite ends to one another. This was also the night I decided to break in my new leather Schutz flats that ended up blistering my feet. Was not happy.

Courtesy of the expertise of Best LDN Walks, I joined a group of bloggers early Saturday afternoon for a stroll and history lesson through some of London’s oldest and luxurious stores you’ve most likely never heard of.

We were given Garmin Vivofit & Vivosmart fitness bands to track the amount of steps our shopping expedition took, along with the calories burned- Well this was most important to me but there are several other features. A special thank you to Currys for supplying the group with such a fabulous product. Read about the walk on their blog here.

Nije
mi bilo svejedno.

Uljudnost i stručnost turističkog obilaska “najbolje londonske šetnje”
trgovina o kojima vjerovatno nikad niste čuli.

nevjerojatnim proizvodom.

Mini činjenice
Želite li znati kako je Marilyn Monroe mirisala? Ona ide u Floris
parfumeriju tražiti Rose Geranium parfem.

ljubičaste kreme u Charbonnel et Walker. Te čokolade imaju valstitu
ligu i jednostavno su nezaboravne.

Berry Brothers & Rudd su opskrbili Titanic i imaju originalnu kopiju
memoara, koji izvještava o potonuću broda 1914.godine. memoar stoji
uramljen na zidu.

Hatchards je najstarija knjižnica u Velikoj Britaniji.

Miris Mayfaira je miris cigare. Oscar Wilde i Winston Churchill bili
