Gary Vaynerchuk doesn’t give a fuck about your excuses. That’s right, he doesn’t give a flying fuck.
He doesn’t want to hear about you complain about how you don’t have time or enough money or even the resources to make shit happen. It’s all about the #hustle and the #grind. Oh Fuck, now I’m speaking the Gary Vee language.
He particularly doesn’t care if you think you’re too old to be involved in Social Media (Learn- knowledge is power). This powerful marketing tool can make or break your business. Your ignorance is straight up stupid and you’re never too old (or young) to get into the game.
Just incase you’re sitting there thinking- A. Who the fuck is Gary Vaynerchuk, B. That’s a little Harsh and C. That’s way too many F-Bombs in less than 150 words. Whatever, here’s a link I think you’ll enjoy.
Gary Vaynerchuk, Snapchat Extraordinaire and overall Social Media Guru is the Founder of VaynerMedia and an internationally recognised, nonconformist Entrepreneurial kick-up-the- ass. He has amassed a following by one simple message that’s regurgitated daily and remained unchanged over the years, hustle. It’s all in the hustle baby. While his straight up no bullshit way of story telling may seem a little ruthless to some, Gary doesn’t give a fuck. He understands that the people that see value in his content and are not deterred by his tone, will find their way to his media channels and appreciate his message.
Doing The Right Thing Is Always The Right Thing
Not only does Gary offer thousands of minutes worth of free advice on business, entrepreneurship and social media on his Facebook and YouTube Channels alone, he also taps into the psychology of a successful person and what it takes to be successful. You don’t have to be a success story and a dick is Gary’s message to all those hustling their way to make a name for themselves. The man lives and breathes his message and this is obvious in the way he interacts with his team, clients and also fans he comes across during his travels. It’s nothing short of admirable. Gary is a people’s person stressing to everyone that “People are your asset.” No matter how good or independent you think you are, you need people to prosper.
Take a look at one of my favourite Gary Vee videos titled, Who Are You Letting Down? It hit close to home as it would for many people coming from immigrant households with an entrepreneurial spirit yet plagued with the fear of “what if my family don’t believe in me?” Gary’s message is precisely clear here that they’ll respect you more for doing it than not doing it. I loved this video so much that I linked my 14 year old cousin to it.
In the next week I’m going to review Gary Vaynerchuk’s latest book titled #AskGaryVee, a selection of questions and answers from his #AskGaryVee Show but before I got into all that I wanted to introduce you to the man who literally reminds me everyday that laziness is a trait that doesn’t exist in the human psyche if you want to be successful.
