It was one of those rare London mornings where sugar wasn’t needed in your coffee…

Wilbur & Gussie opened up their doors and held an early morning brunch launching their new Build a bag concept. Their beautifully hand-made silk clutches have been a firm favourite among bloggers & celebrities for many years and personally, I’ve been lusting over their collection since November.

Brett Tyne and Lucy Lyons are the brains and creativity behind this proudly British brand and great new innovation allowing you to create the clutch that you desire. Silks and prints are designed in-house in Marylebone, London and produced in Spain, along with the clutches. This process is overseen by a family run company to ensure the highest standard of quality control. The vintage jewelled brooches are carefully sourced and add a touch of timelessness to each piece.

Although I had my eyes firmly set on a pink clutch with a jaguar jewelled brooch, my heart naturally went for red, which is my all time favourite colour. I set out to my social media accounts to allow my followers to decide which of these three animal brooches best represents me. The best answer came from a long time friend in Sydney, “Horse… wild & free.” I’m still divided whether or not this was a back-handed compliment. With no hesitation, the horse won the race and left many of my friends on Facebook requesting to borrow my new accessory once I was done with it. I highly doubt that will happen.

The decadent simplicity to these clutches obviously doesn’t need much persuading, the tempt has the potential to validate any outfit to a whole new level. I must say, I am in love with the latest addition to my ever expanding wardrobe.

Ooooo that looks fun. Can they make the clutch on the spot or do you have to order in advance? x

Lynda! Long time no see, lovely to hear from you! They make the clutch on the spot, all you need to choose is the colour you like and the brooch to suit. xx
